The Federal University, Gusau, Zamfara State has pegged its cut-off marks at 170 for the 2017/2018 admission. The University would be the first to set its cut-off marks after the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board has set its cut-off marks at 120 for admissions into the Universities.
This was made known today in Gusau by the information officer of the University, Malam Umar Usman. The University disclosed that it has the capacity to admit only 1,500 students with over 5,000 applicants applying for admission into the university through JAMB and Direct Entry for the coming academic session.
The Management of the institution recalled that the cut-off mark was reached to minimised wastage by the applicants who may score 120 and above marks but would not yet be admitted even after paying for post-utme and other related stress.
