The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has disclosed possibility of calling for the scrapping of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB if it failed to reverse the cut-off marks recently set for admissions into the higher institutions in the country.

According to the National Public Relations Officer of the student's body, Bestman Okereafor "The national leadership of the association has concluded to approach to reverse the cut-off mark recently set at 120 for University admission or the board faces the wrath of the students.

Okereafor who make the statement known to the press in Enugu disclosed that the students may request for the scrapping of the board if it failed to review the cut-off mark early set last Tuesday.

The students association recalled that the decrease in the cut-off mark is a further degradation in the academic performances of the existing poor educational standards in the country.
